What students say

I would like to testify the precious experience that the SDA Bocconi Global Executive MBA represents for me. It is a hard path, that challenges you each day due to the pressing rhythm of the study activities that overlap with the job duties. Every day we put to test our the ability to organise and plan the agenda, which is one of the first manager's responsibilities; moreover we develop the ability to analyse and summarise different notions, theories and models coming from various disciplines. These notions and theories need to be processed and fixed in order to become knowledge heritage, both personal and professional. Everything sprinkled with al lot of adrenalin that prepares you to the several exams, just like in real life. After a year I can affirm that I feel a lot stronger and more confident, both as a woman and as a professional! I really appreciate the team spirit and the friends and professional networking, with whom you can share thoughts, know-how, ideas and a lot of fun. Ah! I was forgetting about another big exam, the nights with the SDA Bocconi friends spent with aperitivo and dinners. If you can manage the rhythm and go all the way to the weekend still healthy, then you will have passed the exams!!

Elinora Pisanti, GEMBA Candidate 2009

From the professional standpoint I reached the ten year mark in my career, consulting teams, implementing EPP systems on large international projects, but I felt the need to forge my path to a more strategic role. Moreover, in the company I'm working for, the number of women having managerial positions is increasing and to be competitive I felt I needed something more than just a great job and the Global Executive MBA from the best business school in Italy was the key of my future! Since my first GEMBA's day, I definitely felt this program was going to be one of the best experiences of my life. I am impressed with every aspect of the program: the teaching quality, the courses, the alumni network, the modules abroad. It is true that is a challenging program but it is also very exciting. Now, I have a much more clear insight in operation management, financial analysis, marketing, human resources, as well as strategic management. So far, besides the learning, I really appreciate the mix of professional and academic experiences and unusual ideas coming from my outstanding colleagues. The program is giving me the stimulation and intellectual boost I need at this point of my life; the proof that I am able to achieve in areas outside my accomplishments at work. In conclusion, I do not know what my future holds for me, but I believe that the SDA Bocconi Global Executive MBA has enabled me to face it!
